Can I do this with loreal hicolor hilights? (mixing two of the colors)?

Alright, well I am planning to dye my medium brown hair with loreal Hicolor hilights. I really like the red and the copper, and want a color in-between those two. So, if I mix them, what will happen? Will I achieve a color that is red with orange-ish tints or color to it (the color in-between them)?
