Blasphemy against Jesus tolerated why?

In the UK it's acceptable to blaspheme the name of Jesus, but if blaspheme occurred against other religious people like muhammad (muslim) there would be uproar. Seems a bit strange as Christianity is the majority in UK. I am sad because every time I hear it it's like a dagger to the heart because I love Jesus.
