Is Bil-Jac a good dog food?

I have a 3 month old miniature poodle. The food says "for small dogs" so I got it. And plus he's only a puppy. Is it a good food? Why or why not? And if not, what better food is there to switch to, why, is it good for puppies as well as dogs, and how you can safely transition dog foods? PLEASE AND THANKS ! (:
