Is there any way to modify a Volvo 850 to look pretty?

I'm thinking of getting a Volvo 850. I like reliability. But they are so very, very ugly. I'm thinking of painting it a pretty shade of light, sparkly blue. I know a place that can do that cheap. But I'm wondering if there is anything else I can do to make it look less like a 'block of cheese'. Window tints and colored headlights are illegal in my state, so those are out. I've been researching it but I can't find anything. I managed to find a single body mod online, but...eh, thats it. And I'm not sure how much that would cost to have installed, and its not very good. Can anyone suggest something?
